Blackfeet Artist Louis Still Smoking

Born and raised on the Blackfeet Indian reservation in Browning MT. Louis is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Nation. He draws inspiration from his Blackfoot cultural Identity. Growing up around family creating cultural objects and paintings has shaped his unique vision on contemporary indigenous art. Incorporating Blackfoot language and story telling has allowed for a unique perspective into the world of indigenous identity and has allowed the viewers of his work to glimpse into the vast world of creativity in Blackfoot culture.
